Mission and Vision

AMIGOS congregates Purdue faculty, undergraduate students, and graduate students who want to create a community to learn about courses, exchange research ideas and to share experiences. The association recruits Latinos and other under-represented minorities interested in computer graphics, computer science and related fields. The association supports its members with high quality events dedicated to empower students and researchers. Meetings for each semester include member recruitment, faculty research talks, research sketches by students, and tips for graduate study and for employment. While AMIGOS targets minorities, the association welcomes all faculty, staff, and students to attend our activities.
