If you have not declared a CS minor, see info here.

CS 18000:

Non-major sections are open to all students during spring and summer sessions. The course is now full.  You may submit an override request if you still wish to take the class. If additional non-major spaces become available you will be notified.

CS 18200, CS 24000 and CS 25200:

Spring is peak session and therefore limited to CS majors.  Please do NOT submit an override request as it will not be reviewed.

CS 25000:

Declared CS minors were given access to available space during the second week of open registration, on December 6, 2017.  Please do NOT submit an override request.  Restrictions will be lifted on the Friday before the start of classes.

CS 25100:

Declared CS minors were given access to available space during the second week of open registration, December 6, 2017.  The course is now full.  You may submit an override request if you still wish to take the class.  If space becomes available, you will be notified.  Restrictions will be lifted on the Friday before the start of classes.

CS 30000 – CS 49000:

Declared CS minors with fewer than 5 CS courses completed for the minor may submit an override request for 300 and 400 level courses here.  Requests will be reviewed and students notified via email whether space is available by December 6-13, 2017.  Requests should be submitted before that time.

Prerequisite Errors:

If you cannot register for a CS course because Banner says that you do not have some REQUISITE (prerequisite, corequisite), ask your academic advisor, whom we hereby authorize to enter the requisite override if appropriate. Your advisor may refer you to the instructor if he or she does not have a sufficient basis for granting the override.

Instructor's Permission:

If the INSTRUCTOR'S PERMISSION is the only restriction preventing you from registering for a course, see your academic advisor to get advice and a Form 23. Note that a properly signed form will NOT be honored if the course is full.

Program error:

Students who cannot register for a CS course because Banner gives a program error should should check whether program restrictions will be lifted per the course access policy described in these pages.

Due to increasing enrollment in CS undergraduate and graduate programs, availability of courses designed for CS majors is limited.

If you have not declared a CS minor, see info here.
