Facilities
The Center will maintain a welcome area, currently in the Computer Science
Building, in space provided by the
School of Science. The welcome area will house visualization literature,
newsletters,and a bulletin board with pictures of center associates and
with highlights of recent Center activities. The computer science members
will donate two SGI graphics
workstations for demonstrating Center projects to visitors. The Center
will acquire video playback
facilities for this demonstration area. The new image instrumentation
applications laboratory in the School of
Veterinary Medicine (Cristal Lab) will also be the showpiece of applied
image analysis and visualization performed by the Center members.
