The Systems and Networking (SYN) Lab at Purdue University led by Prof. Ramana Rao Kompella conducts research related to broad topics in the area of computer networks and systems. Since our lab was founded in 2007, we have been striving to address challenging problems related to measurement, monitoring, fault diagnosis, and security in the Internet. We are also beginning to look at performance optimizations and performance monitoring in virtualized, cloud-based, and data-center environments.News

9/17/2009 Our workshop paper articulating the vision of measurement plane for scalable fault localization is accepted to appear in ACM ReARCH 2009 to be held in Rome, Italy. Its called "mPlane: An architecture for scalable fault localization".
