Scheduled software updates for Linux, Solaris and Mac OS systems

The default version of Firefox (/p/firefox) on Solaris 10 systems will be updated from Firefox 8 (8.0.1) to Firefox 9 (9.0.1).

The default version of Thunderbird (/p/thunderbird) on Solaris 10 systems will be updated from Thunderbird 8 (8.0) to Thunderbird 9 (9.0.1).

The College of Science trouble ticketing system (which we use for trouble tickets) is scheduled to be down from 20:30 until about 21:00 for an update.

sslab00-sslab24 (LWSN B158) will be rebooted at 9:30AM today to effect a kernel update.

Between 06:30 and 07:15 the main web server was unresponsive. -

The XINU lab frontend machines were rebooted between 07:45 and 07:50 to clear hung NFS mounts. -
