CERIAS is looking for students with the following skills:
A) System administrators (Linux, Free/Net/OpenBSD,a nd /or Solaris);
B) Programmers (C/C++, Perl, UNIX shell); Specific security skills are not required. They need students that have an interest in building and testing a research platform and writing academic papers regarding their work. Students working on this project should be able to devote several hours a week to work on the project at PTC(Purdue Technology Center).
In this project they are building a highly robust stack of network servers, using specialized code on multiple hardware platforms. For this project they need some students to help in modifying the FreeBSD kernel to remove drivers and subsystems, and document the results.
