Snapshots from a PDELab session :
Steps for specifying a PDE problem
involving the 2-D internal turbulent gas flow simulation
model (CFD).
The CFD model is selected through the
PDELab Framework Editor, where users
choose the CFD template and then
enter the required
parameters for the equation and boundary conditions.
Users define the domain and boundary
conditions in the Geometry Editor.
The domain can be drawn interactively, or
it can be parameterized by user-defined Fortran functions
which are dynamically loaded into the Editor. Note
that the upper and lower walls of the boundary
have been divided into 3 pieces. This allows
specification of a varying grid density across the
domain.
Specialized boundary identifiers such as inflow,
outflow, wall and slipping are recognized within
the CFD framework, and can be assigned to the
boundary pieces.
