The //ELLPACK WWW network server
provides a powerful internet based problem
solving facility. Users anywhere on the net can access it to solve a
broad range of simulations for physical objects and processes. Users import
the GUI from //ELLPACK and specify the partial differential equation
problem in a high level, natural, interactive format. The "server"
examines the problem and assists the user in selecting appropriate solvers
and machines that are available on the network or provided by //ELLPACK
itself. The basic types of network nodes itself are : the user, the
//ELLPACK server, high performance compute servers, and proprietary
solvers.
