The UNESCO Chair in Data Privacy

UNESCO Chair in Data Privacy is an agreement between
UNESCO and Rovira i Virgili University (host institution)
to promote international co-operation on data privacy.
This involves research and training events.
The Chair is currently funded by the Government of Catalonia
and Rovira i Virgili University. A list of participating

GeoPKDD
(Geographic Privacy-aware Knowledge Discovery and Delivery), is a European project number
01495 within the Future Emerging Technologies program of FP6-IST. The general goal
of the GeoPKDD project is to develop theory, techniques and systems for knowledge
discovery and delivery, based on new automated privacy-preserving methods for
extracting user-consumable forms of knowledge from large amounts of raw data
referenced in space and in time.
