Yahoo! Research Best Paper Award for Privacy, Security, and Trust in KDD
The best paper of the workshop will be selected using a peer-review
process that includes the workshop organizing and program committees.
Judging shall be based on technical quality, innovativeness, and
contribution to the field as judged by the joint committee. Through the
support of Yahoo! Research, the authors
of the selected paper will receive a 500 USD prize.
Travel Grants
Thanks to support from the UNESCO Chair in Data Privacy, we are able to offer stipends to offset some of the costs associated with attending the PinKDD workshop for participants coming from "transition" countries", which are nations other than the USA, Canada, Western Europe, New Zealand, Australia, Japan and South Korea.
Travel grants will be provided according to this priority order:
- student author of an accepted paper;
- author of an accepted paper;
- student author of a submitted but rejected paper;
- author of a submitted but rejected paper.

your paper has been submitted to PinKDD, including the following information: (1) Name, (2) affiliation, (3) contact information, (4) if you are currently a student, and (5) the title of your paper.

PinKDD08 Workshop
The Second ACM SIGKDD International Workshop on Privacy,
Security, and Trust in KDD (PinKDD08) has been accepted as full-day
workshop, to be held in conjunction with the 14th ACM SIGKDD conference on August
24-27, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
