Mohammed joined the Computer Science Department at Purdue in January 2011. Before that, he attended the Information Security Masters program offered by ISG at Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL) and graduated with a distinction. He also earned his Bachelor in Computer Science from King Saud University (KSU) graduating with First Class Honor. Mohammed's area of interest is in information security and protocols. He is currently working on back-channel communication in authentication protocol. He is also interested in online identity management, phishing and identity fraud.

Before joining Purdue, Mohammed worked in the consultancy business for around two years. He have also worked as a full time TA at King Saud University and currently working as a TA at Purdue.
