The department is very pleased to announce the addition of two new faculty members.

Dr. Suresh Jagannathan has accepted an offer for the position of Associate Professor effective August 2002. His areas of expertise are Programming Languages, Distributed Systems, and Compilers.

Dr. Gopal Pandurangan accepted our offer for Assistant Professor. His areas of expertise are Algorithms, Peer-to-Peer Computing, Communication Networks, and Computational Biology.
