New Faculty for Fall 2003

Daniel Aliaga Daisuke Kihara Ninghui Li Cristina Nita-Rotaru

  • Daniel Aliaga will join the department as an Assistant Professor. His research interests are in the areas of computer graphics, visualization and vision.

  • Daisuke Kihara has accepted a Biology/CS offer and will join the university as an Assistant Professor (60% Biology, 40% CS). His research interests are in the areas of bioinformatics.

  • Ninghui Li will join the department as an Assistant Professor. His research interests are in computer security and applied cryptography, e.g., security and privacy in distributed systems, networks, databases, and electronic commerce, with a focus on access control.

  • Cristina Nita-Rotaru will join the department as an Assistant Professor. Her research interests are in the areas of distributed systems and security.
