Mathematica Miniconference: 6pm, Tuesday, September 16 in RAWL 1086,
sponsored by the Engineering Computer Network. (RAWL is the new
building by the Krannert Building, cater-cornered from the Union Building.) The Mathematica technical computing environment "seamlessly integrates a numeric and symbolic computational engine, graphics system, programming language, documentation system, and advanced connectivity to other applications." Researchers and instructors at Purdue may be especially interested in webMathematica (see below). From 6:00--6:55pm is a totally self-contained miniconference on Mathematica and webMathematica:
From 7:00--8:00pm is a more in-depth talk on webMathematica:
