The overview process started June 5, 2006 with Weekly Single Round Matches (SRMs) available only to high school students. The SRMs allow students to demonstrate their problem-solving skills by unraveling complex word problems through the use of either Java, C++, C# or VB.Net. The TopCoder High School tournament will begin in February 2007 and the final event will be hosted by the Purdue Department of Computer Science on the West Lafayette campus in May 2007.
