  [Editor's rambling (9/07): It's been years but when I read this paper again, it brought back some good memory! :) The paper isn't ``academic'' since there's no proof and the little theory that it uses is existing. But solving all the interaction issues between the components (some of these issues were quite original, as far as I know), and actually make the whole thing work for real applications on a production system is satisfying in a way, reminding myself perhaps also the detailed execution.]
