I am a Ph.D. candidate here at Purdue University working primarily in the area of dynamic program analysis with my advisor Dr. Xiangyu Zhang. My particular subinterests deal with the areas of practical debugging and concurrency along with heterogeneous formal solutions in these areas.
I graduated in 2005 from Hope College with a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics as well as a BA in German.
Outside the realm of Computer Science, some of my main interests are origami, cooking, and film editing. I have been practicing origami since the first grade and find it both sublimely interesting and, generally, relaxing. In the kitchen, I particularly enjoy cooking breads and desserts but will readily succumb to any culinary whimsy.
