About Me

Currently I am a visiting assistant professor in Statistics at Purdue University.

I received my PhD in Computing Science from the University of Alberta in 2007 under the supervision of Dr. Dale Schuurmans and Dr. Michael Bowling. From 2007-08, I was a research fellow at Australian National University. From 2009, I was a visiting assistant professor in Statistics and a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University.

Research Interests

My research interests are in the broad area of Statistical Machine Learning and Data Mining. In particular, I am interested in the development of statistical tools and methodology for solving problems involving automated learning and decision-making in dynamical worlds.
