Research Summary
With increasing traffic in current computer networks, it is a challenging to
provide cost effective, yet accurate solutions to monitor them. Broadly speaking, I worked
on developing algorithms and systems to reduce the costs of network
measurements. My recent research aims to provide low-cost anomaly
detection for large measurement data (INFOCOM’13) and scalable data
structures for localizing TCP performance problems (PAM’13). My earlier work
provides low-cost inferencing and scheduling techniques for taking
simultaneous active measurements.
