Topic: Science Honors Seminar
Objective: Study trends in our field and the ideas that are making this trend a reality. Study major traditional areas in computer science and the scientists that made them a reality. Look through a magic ball into the next 20 years and through round table discussions try to chart what is ahead.
Method: The course will be conducted as an informal seminar that includes outside speakers involved in the future of computing, lectures given by the seminar coordinator, presentations made by the students, and finally round table discussions.
Requirements: Students must attend at least 10 of the sessions.
