I am greatly interested in Privacy and Security issues in Information Management (IM). I am currently working on Privacy in Search, particularly Web Search. While Private Information Retrieval (PIR) is impractical, the techniques I am after are the ones that would fit into the current web search model, with support for online advertisements. I am currently building a tool which will probably be made available for public use. It would be apt to say "Efficient and Secure Information Management" is always my lifeline. Give me your needs of an IM system, I'll give you the most efficient and effective implementation blueprint. List of my publications is available here. "What is the use of information if we can't share it? What is the point of sharing if we can't prevent misuse? Why do you have to give up something that you don't need to?
