Research Interest: Information Retrieval, Knowledge Management, Machine Learning, Intelligent Tutoring, Text/Data Mining for Life Science, Speech and Multimedia Processing, Natural Language Processing. My Research has been supported by National Science Foundation, State of Indiana and Purdue University. I am actively looking for motivated graduate students with good solid machine learning, statistics or mathematics backgrounds to do information retrieval, machine learning and bioinformatics research (beginning in Fall or Spring semesters).
