Research Interest:

Information Retrieval, Knowledge Management, Machine Learning, Text/Data Mining for Life Science, Speech and Multimedia Processing, Natural Language Processing. My Research has been supported by National Science Foundation, State of Indiana and Purdue University.

I am actively looking for motivated graduate students with good solid machine learning, statistics or mathematics backgrounds to do information retrieval, machine learning and bioinformatics research (beginning in Fall or Spring semesters). Please send me emails.
