for PLDI 2005 Tutorials
Important
Dates:
- Submission deadline: February 1, 2005
- Notification: Feburary 28, 2005
PLDI is a forum where researchers,
developers, educators, and practitioners can exchange information on
the latest practical and experimental work in the design and
implementation of programming languages. The tutorial program is
designed to enhance the technical program with a day proceeding the
technical program of two to four hour tutorials offered in two
parallel tracks.
Tutorials for PLDI 2005 are solicited on, but not
limited to, these topics:
- Software verification and model checking
- Memory management
- Teaching compilers
- Real-time and embedded system, safety cirtical systems
- Generic program analysis and compiler infrastructures
- Web services
- New hardware trends
Submission
Procedures:
Prospective tutorialists should submit
in either text or pdf form the following information via email to
Jan Vitek
jv@cs.purdue.edu.
- Presenter and contact information.
- Duration of proposed tutorial.
- 1 to 2 paragraph abstract suitable for tutorial publicity.
- 1 to 3 page tutorial description (for evaluation). This
description should include the objective of the tutorial,
topics you will cover, philosophy (if any), the target
audience, and prerequisite knowledge.
- 1 paragraph biography suitable for tutorial publicity.
