Friday – October 27, 2005: Project 4 is out. It is due on Friday November 18 at 11:59PM.

Friday – September 23, 2005: Project 2 (The RDBMS Lower-level Layers) is out. It is due on Friday October 14 at 9AM. This project is in Java. In case the figure in the handout does not show, here it is.

Wednesday – September 13, 2005: Changes in office hours. Notice the following changes in office hours both for the TA and myself. The new office hours are as follows:
TA’s New Office Hours: Mondays 1-3PM
Aref Office Hours: By email appointments only (send me email to schedule an appointment. Unless stated otherwise, meeting location will be in my office).

Friday - September 9, 2005: Oracle accounts have been created
for CS541. Students can access their login+password information by visiting https://portals.cs.purdue.edu/. Once there, students should login with their Purdue Career Account login and password and they can then browse to their Oracle
account. Instructions on accessing Oracle from CS machines or mentor.ics
can be found at: http://www.cs.purdue.edu/oracle/
