About CS 490D Senior Design Project

First offering: Spring 2001

This course provides seniors in Computer Science and Engineering disciplines an opportunity to work in small teams of 3-5 students on a semester-long project. Enrollment is limited to 20 students.

Use of sound software engineering practices and team work are emphasized.

Projects of interdisciplinary nature are encouraged. Projects could be sponsored by companies or formulated by the students and the instructor. All projects must exhibit a significant need for the use of information technology.

Grades assigned to individual students are determined using weekly presentations, design and other documents, team work, quality of the prototype and the product, technological and business innovation.
