Guidelines for Project Summary:

• Approximate time available: 25 minutes.
• Participate during presentation by other teams.
• Prepare in advance and aim for a polished presentation.
• Address the following:
  1. Project title?
  2. Team members ?
  3. What product do you plan to develop? Are you developing from scratch or is it a continuation of an earlier activity?
  4. Are there products on the market that might compete with what you plan to develop? If yes, then what is likely to make your product better than that of others?
  5. Describe the potential set of users. Do you have at least one potential user who could be involved in the project from the beginning? If not, then can you recruit a few?
  6. Why do these users need your product?
  7. What features is your product likely to offer? (Rank the features according to their importance to the users.)
  8. What technologies do you expect to use during the entire development cycle? Address technologies (tools, techniques, standards, methodologies, etc.) you expect to use during the analysis, design, coding, integration, and system test phases.
  9. Can you reuse any existing code?
  10. Project timeline? Estimate the start and completion dates of different phases.
  11. Difficulties you expect to encounter during the execution of this project.
  12. Do you expect this project to lead to a commercial venture? If yes, then provide a brief description of the venture.
