Im a Ph.D. student and a Research Assistant at the Department of Computer Science, Purdue University working under the supervision of my advisor Prof. Walid Aref. I currently hold a BSc. in Computer Science from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and a MSc. from the Department of Computer Science, American University in Cairo.

Research Interests

My current research focuses on Spatial Web Data Management. Broadly speaking, my work involves Spatial, Temporal and Spatiotemporal Data Management. My other areas of interest are Semantic Web, Natural Language Processing, and Information Retreival.
