Thanks to all of those who attended our workshop! We were pleased to have Tim Bell as our guest for this workshop! Tim is the co-author of CS Unplugged. He will be traveling throughout the United States this fall. Learn more about his tour here. Workshop participants were also treated to a presentation from ROCS, our student outreach group in the Department of Computer Science. 10 teachers from across the State of Indiana attended this workshop and found it to be an exciting and eye-opening experience.

At the conclusion of this workshop, teachers will:
- Take home activities, games, and puzzles to use in the classroom
- Define the relationship between other subjects and computer science
- Gain valuable knowledge about topics such as Algorithms, Binary Numbers, Recursion, Cryptography, and Logic Circuits.

- This one-day workshop is open to all K-12 teachers and is FREE!!!!
- It will be held October 4, 2006 at Purdue University, West Lafayette campus.
- Registration will begin at 9:30 AM in Lawson 1142
- The program is sponsored by the Department of Computer Science K-12 Outreach program.
