ABOUT THE POSITION
Do you love to create cutting edge mobile and web experiences? Flexing your muscles with the latest web frameworks? Then this job is for you. This is a fast-paced, high-profile development position. This position will play a key role in developing the big picture vision and strategy for website enhancements, mobile delivery, optimizations, and infrastructure, while keeping a firm hand on the smallest project details. This position is based at ExactTarget headquarters in the historic Guaranty Building on downtown Indianapolis, Indiana’s bustling Monument Circle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for software development of mobile and web solutions.
• Lead and provide directions in successful deployment of systems and tackle variety of projects and challenges.
• Work with internal clients and technology vendors to maximize opportunities in company's digital-based presence.
• Contribute to the implementation and design of digital interfaces through technical expertise to bring compelling and innovative solutions to the table.
• Proactively integrate various software based data collection and dissemination tools into the Company’s corporate and promotional websites and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with a well-rounded and innovative interactive development team.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Informatics, or 3+ years of related field experience.
• Experience with open source frameworks and content management systems: PHP, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience creating web and mobile applications using either native (iOS/Android) or web (Backbone, etc.) based
2 application frameworks.
• Proficient with information architecture principles, API calls, and web standards.
• Ability to work with databases (MySQL), remote systems, and command line knowledge. Track record of success in
systems management / website creation and management technologies.
• Familiarity with source code revision control software (git).
• Must have a strong understanding of HTTP, HTML, CSS, web standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with JavaScript, PHP, AJAX, J-Query, Network Administration, and other web technologies.
• Experience with SOLR or similar full-text engines is a plus.
• Experience with graphics (canvas, SVG, OpenGL) is a plus.
• Clear sense of integrity, work ethic and a sincere interest in building strong relationships based upon competency and trust.
