Students interested in working for CS 158 or CS 159 should have completed CS 240 by the time they begin work in January. Leading a single lab section is approximately a 5 hour weekly commitment. The position is paid hourly and does not include a tuition waiver or monthly stipend.

The IEEE Computer Society is launching a new design competition for undergraduates with prizes totaling $10,000. Undergraduate teams will be invited to design a CPU
simulator, a program used in many architecture courses to illustrate how computers work.
