CPP Special Sessions (open to CPP representatives and their recruiting teams)

Mixer with Undergraduate Students:
Join our undergraduate students in an informal setting of bowling and billiards, Sunday, September 7 from 7:00-9:00pm in the Purdue Memorial Union.

Student Research Showcase and lunch:
Grauduate and undergraduate students will display their research with a poster session on Monday, September 8 in the Buchanan Room, Ross Ade Stadium at 11:00am, followed by a buffet with participating students.

CS Student Panel-Tips for Companies:
All CPP reps and CPP recruiting teams are welcome to hear feedback from our Juniors & Seniors on some of the things they look for when doing their job search during a panel presentation on Monday, September 8 at 2:30pm in the University Meeting Room, Lawson Building (LWSN 1142).

For planning purposes, please let us know how many company representatives will attend the above sessions.

CS Career Fair:

The CS Career Fair will be held Monday evening, September 8, 2008 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM in the South Ballroom, Purdue Memorial Union.

We will provide a 6' skirted table and 2 chairs for each company as well as a light dinner for each representative. Please let us know your additional needs below.

To help both the company representatives and the CS students use the career fair to their advantage, please let us know your hiring qualifications.

Please list the names of ALL company representatives that will be attending the job fair. We will have a light dinner for each representative.

Shipment of display/materials:
You may ship your company display and/or materials the week of September 2-5. Please have all boxes indicate Box of 1 or Box 2 of 6 etc.

Please note, Purdue does not accept deliveries on weekends.

To avoid confusion with other career fairs during the same week, it is very important the address label reads as follows.

To insure correct delivery of your company materials, please include the company courier and tracking number(s). We will share this information with our shipping and receiving department to verify receipt of your materials.

Your company materials will be available in the South Ballroom for set-up after 1:00pm on Sept 8. Please have a company representative confirm receipt of packages prior to 5:00pm so any problems can be resolved.

After the CS Career Fair, we can arrange for your company display/materials to be forwarded to either:

  1. the Engineering Industrial Roundtable, Sept. 9 & 10
  2. the AITP Computer Roundtable, Sept. 12
  3. return to your company via a courier.

Please refer to the block of rooms as the Computer Science Corporate Partners Program.

After August 28, the unused rooms in the block will be released.
