CS 490S Secure Network Programming

IPv4: ARP, UDP, TCP, ICMP vulnerabilities (IP spoofing, TCP session hijacking, Smurf, Ping of death, etc...) and introduction to network intrusion detection. Resource exhaustion vulnerabilities. Directory traversal vulnerabilities. Sun RPC vulnerabilities. Concepts in secure network protocols: Nonces, randomness, authentication, encryption. HTTP: SSL, Web Applications. Introduction to IPSEC.
