CS 178 Introduction to Computer Science

Introduction to programming in C (as a subset of C++) emphasizing structured programming. Data types, assignment, input/output, procedures, selection, iteration, arrays, records, files, and pointers \(em as time permits.

Usually Offered: Fall
Credit: 4 hours (3 class/2 lab)
Restrictions: For computer sciences majors who are preparing to take CS 180.
Cannot be used by computer sciences majors to fulfill any degree requirements.
