ACM -- Association for Computing Machinery, Purdue University Chapter

ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery, is an international scientific and educational organization dedicated to advancing the arts, sciences, and applications of information technology. With a world-wide membership of 80,000, ACM functions as a locus for computing professionals and students working in the various fields of Information Technology.

CSWN is an organization at Purdue University consisting of people (both students and staff) who are dedicated to helping women in the computer science (CS) field. The leadership team that organizes most activities is made up of female students who want to reach out and help all of the women in CS. CSWN organizes different activities meant to encourage young women to meet one another and also learn more about their choosen field of study. These activities range from picnics to technical talks to helping students find tutors if they are needed.Our goal is to encourage women in computer science to stay in the field and prosper.

UPE -- Upsilon Pi Epsilon

Upsilon Pi Epsilon is an honor society which was founded in 1967 to recognize scholarship and professionalism in the Computing Sciences. In the 28 years since then, over 120 institutions of higher education around the world have established UPE chapters. It is the only international honor society in the Computing Sciences. UPE has been officially recognized by both the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) and by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) Computer Society.

USB -- Undergraduate Student Board

USB strives to be a link between students and faculty as well as between students and corporate partners. Purdue USB is unique and the first of its kind in Computer Sciences.
