AMD Award
This award is given to an EPICS team (or teams) that display an excellence in design. A monetary award is associated with this honor. This award is made possible through generous donations from AMD specifically for excellence in design. ECE's Eaton Award
This award is for a senior design student for excellence in design plus contributions to his/her design team. The students are chosen based on their design contributions to their group design project and for design leadership within the project. This is a monetary award and his/her name will be added to a plaque in the ECE display cases. Corcoran Award
This award is given to students who are deserving of special recognition, for excellent technical or team leadership, excellent team dynamics, or outstanding achievements in their field. The Corcoran family has generously given money that can be used for individual students or projects deserving this special recognition. Entrepreneurship Competitions
In addition to the above awards, the I2P (Idea to Product) competition for Entrepreneurship held in the spring is a way for students to present their designs and products that may be marketable. The awards for this competition include $15,000 for first place, $10,000 for second place, and $5,000 for third place, all including commercialization services.
