Orientation: To-do before and upon Arrival

3. Contact our graduate secretary, Amy Ingram (ajingram@cs.purdue.edu) for the alternate pin information you will need to schedule your courses.

  • 4. Schedule your courses at mypurdue.purdue.edu. Instructions on how to enter your courses into the system can be found there.

After you arrive on campus:

  • 5. Pick up your fee statement from Hovde Hall, if you have not already received it.

    6. Obtain your Purdue ID card in the Purdue Memorial Union.

  • 7. Set up your access to your CS account.

8. Make an appointment with your initial advisor.

9. If you have been offered a fellowship or graduate assistantship, sign up for payroll and pick up your health insurance packet at one of the sessions listed here.
  • 10. Pick up memos from the graduate secretary, Amy Ingram, in Lawson 1137. Sign and return the census form, and electronically submit the photo release in the CS Portal (access is in the upper right corner of www.cs.purdue.edu).

  • 11. Get your office assignment and keys from the facilities assistant director, Candy Walters, in Lawson 2116H.

    12. Get your mailbox assignment from Patti Minniear in Lawson 1151.

  • 13. Set up your CS Homepage.
