Association for Computing Machinery:

ACM at Purdue is an organization for connecting students, faculty and companies for the betterment of the computing community. As a representative of one the worlds most influential computing organizations, we provide academic resources, forums for the spreading of ideas as well as communities for technological discovery and growth.

Computer Science Women's Network:

The Computer Science Women's Network (CSWN) is an organization at Purdue University consisting of people (both students and staff) who are dedicated to helping women in the computer science (CS) field. CSWN organizes different activities meant to encourage young women to meet one another and also learn more about their chosen field of study. These activities range from picnics to technical talks to helping students find tutors if they are needed. Their goal is to encourage women in computer science to stay in the field and prosper.

Graduate Student Board:

Computer Science Graduate Student Board is a student organization acting as a liaison between the graduate students of Department of Computer Science at Purdue University and the administration. The board also represents computer science graduate students in College of Science and the Purdue Graduate Student Government also known as PGSG.

Undergraduate Student Board:

The USB is a group made up of a maximum of twelve undergraduates in the Department of Computer Science who are determined to make this a better place to study and obtain a degree. This board has six primary objectives as follows:

1. To become a voice and a vehicle for action for the undergraduate students of Computer Science,
2. To stay in touch with the concerns and needs of these students and accurately focus its energies towards solving those concerns,
3. To aid in decisions about the undergraduate curriculum made by the Department of Computer Science and offer the students. opinion on these matters,
4. To bridge the gap between faculty and students in the Department of Computer Science by facilitating interaction,
   
5. To offer opportunities for undergraduate students to build upon their marketable skills such as interviewing and resume building,
6. To expose undergraduate students to opportunities beyond their Computer Science degree, whether it lie in graduate school or industry.

Upsilon Pi Epsilon:

Upsilon Pi Epsilon is an honor society which was founded in 1967 to recognize scholarship and professionalism in the Computing Sciences. In the 28 years since then, over 120 institutions of higher education around the world have established UPE chapters. It is the only international honor society in the Computing Sciences. UPE has been officially recognized by both the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) and by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) Computer Society.
