REGISTRATION FOR SPRING 2010 CS COURSES

This page and the associated form (URL below) may be revised from
time to time. Changes will be noted at the bottom of this page.

Below is the URL of a form that you may use to:

1. Apply for overrides (waivers) so that you can register for CS
courses for which Banner will not let you register.

Exception: If you think that you have the background required
to take the course but Banner does not recognize that, do not
use the form below. See your academic advisor, who may refer
      you to the instructor.

Exception: If the instructor's permission is required, do not
use the form below; but take a properly completed Form 23 to
the instructor. The instructor can give permission by entering
override code "INST-PERMIT" and signing the form, which you
should then take to the registrar's office in HOVDE.

Requests for overrides will generally be handled after open
registration begins. That gives the students (typically CS
majors) that have first priority the first opportunity to register
   for the course.

Graduate students requesting overrides of any sort may be asked to
show evidence of fulfillment of the requisites.

2. Inform us that you cannot find space in a course. Our intent
is to measure demand, not to form a waiting list. If there be
need to add space to a course, we shall attempt to do that and
notify the students accordingly. Please do not inquire.

Use separate forms for different courses.

If you submit more than one form for the same course, only the last
form will be used. If you want to revise a submitted form, submit a
new one. If you change your e-mail address, submit a new form.

To withdraw a form, submit a new form, checking "Withdraw my earlier
request for this course".

A response is required for items in the form marked *.

Be careful to follow the instructions regarding format.

Selecting the ">>" in the lower right corner of the form submits the
form.

By submitting the form, you are authorizing the Department of
Computer Science to access whatever University records may be needed
to verify your statements or may be helpful in allotting space. If
you do not wish to do that, do NOT submit the form.
