communication protocols underlying interoperable systems.
Topics include
universal interconnection,
internet addressing and routing;
address binding,
control of internet congestion and flow,
examples of internet protocol suites (TCP/IP and XNS),
round trip time estimation,
naming and name resolution,
internet applications programs,
the ISO/OSI model.
