Topics include principles of
naming and location,
atomicity,
resource sharing,
concurrency control and other synchronization,
deadlock detection and avoidance,
security,
distributed data access and control,
integration of operating systems and computer networks,
distributed systems design,
consistency control, and
fault tolerance.
