geometry
on the computer.
Its special expertise, represented by the members and software,
is creation, reconstruction, computation and communication of
surfaces for design and visualization. Besides, the lab leader
is an enthusiastic windsurfer.
Software packages and interaction paradigms developed at SurfLab
include: Surface Splines free form modeling, Artesano exploratory
modeling,
the CSG Box Spline Blending package, the Simplest Subdivision
Scheme.
Current contributors to Surflab are
Jörg Peters, Carlos Gonzalez-Ochoa, David Lutterkort, Doina
Onut,
Michael Wittman, John Spaith.
SurfLab has five SGI and two Sun workstations and two Pentium Pro
