This project investigates high performance computing techniques for discovering useful patterns in large databases including algorithms for classification, associations, and time-series analysis. It focuses both on improved algorithms as well as their parallel processing aspects. In addition to these, it also addresses data layout techniques for maximizing spatial locality for memory system and out-of-core performance.
