I am a research assistant professor with the Cyber Center in Discovery Park at Purdue University.

My research interests lie in the field of database and web services with a focus on Life Science Applications. In particular, I'm interested in database integration, schema matching, database systems to support biological data in terms of annotations, provenance, and other key functionalities. I am also interested in access control for web services and choreographies. I am also involved in projects for building systems to support experiments, data acquisition, and analysis workflows for high throughput omics Life Sciences, building integrated access to large set of data sources based on web services, and providing database support for the purpose of public health surveillance.
